Dakar Panniers are hand built here over a three stage period, to ensure you receive a quality end product.
The first stage comprises of the panniers being bolted together in the mock-up stage, this allows us to check for fit and alignment. The panniers are then dissassembled, where the individual parts are de-burred, and the panels lined with neoprene, with recesses made for each rivet. The neoprene serves a dual purpose, the first being to hide the rivets and internal seams, the second being to protect your equipment.
The final stage sees the panniers being seam sealed and riveted together, and finally, the addittion of the hand-stamped brass nameplate with serial number.

Dakar panniers are made from 2mm aluminium, with extruded aluminium seams, stainless hinges, galvanised steel locking catches, corner braces, and ball corner protectors.

Our standard size, the 41 litre set, measures 260mm x 425mm x 380mm, and weighing 5 kilos each. Slightly heavier than other makes, but in our opinion, make up for it by being able to withstand some serious abuse, and should the worse happen, somewhere very remote, some 5mm rivets and a rivet gun will soon have you on your way a lot more quickly than having to track down a tig welder in Ulaanbaatar. Our pannier sets are made to order, and usually involve a 2 week manufacturing and delivery time, sometime longer for special orders and parts. We can build sets with document safes in the lids, sets with tie-down points, or special equipment mounts..

Our basic 41 litre sets start at £400.00.
